Competition format

This event is a non-gendered competition, meaning all athletes compete together, with divisions/scores based on bodyweight rather than gender. Final results are determined by total weight lifted and bodyweight-based scoring.  Weigh-in will be on the morning of the competition at the athlete briefing.

Please note: Weight is not announced or displayed; it is only used for our scoring system.

Format

Each athlete will perform three lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. You also have the option to do just 1 or 2 of the lifts if you don't want to do all 3.

Each lifter has three attempts at each lift, with their best successful attempt counting towards their final total.

Our goal is to create an inclusive, supportive, and well-run competition environment. Whether you’re stepping onto the platform for the first time or returning for another meet, this is a space to challenge yourself, hit personal bests, and enjoy the competition experience.

On the day, lifters will be grouped into "flights" (groups) and take turns performing their attempts on a single platform, following standard referee commands.

Full rules and guidance will be provided ahead of time and also on the day.
